Reserve 882 Ken Birdsey Park is a $34M district park for Blacktown City Council, delivering new sporting fields, community buildings, play areas and landscaping across a 200,000 sqm site, together with the civil, water and stormwater infrastructure to support it.

Delivered under an AS4902 design and construct contract, the works included Sydney Water sewer adjustments, a potable water tap-in, in-ground rainwater harvesting, and bioretention basins and stormwater treatment systems to improve catchment water quality before release into First Ponds Creek.

George managed the project as Project Manager, from procurement through design development, remediation works and construction, holding programme, cost and quality across the delivery team and reporting through Council governance.
