Australia Post's parcel volumes have surged on the back of e-commerce growth across Australia. The conversion of an existing warehouse at Melbourne Airport into a 20,000 sqm parcel processing facility was a fast-tracked, technically complex transformation delivered against one of the most demanding deadlines in the logistics calendar, the November peak period.

Delivered under a Design and Construct model, the project involved demolition of existing pallet racking, new structural works and footings to support a large-scale automated sortation system, and comprehensive upgrades across fire, electrical, IT and mechanical services. External works, a new administration block and staff welfare facilities completed the scope.

Mark led full delivery of the project, steering a technically demanding programme across a constrained site on Melbourne Airport-owned land, managing complex approval processes while maintaining momentum toward a fixed, non-negotiable completion date.
