Established in 2023, Cerulean has in a short span of time delivered significant strategy and delivery projects nationally in Australia.
Clients include occupiers and owners, government and the private sector, all looking for creative solutions drawn from deep technical and commercial experience, gained from delivering landmark projects.

Cerulean was founded by Anna Verghese, who brings 20+ years of global and proven expertise in the commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, residential, hi-tech and mixed-use sectors. Uniquely she has been a client, a consultant and also a contractor, the outcome of which is the strong belief in fairness and achieving the right outcomes for projects.

Projects are led by Anna through the entire project life cycle, with the ability to bring in key specialist team players, ensuring seamless delivery and response to scale and scope.

Anna Verghese

Founding Director

Anna Verghese is the Founding Director of Cerulean, a client-side consulting firm specialising in project, program, and development management for built spaces. With over 20 years of experience across APAC, EMEA, and USA regions, Anna has successfully delivered projects across the commercial, healthcare, data centre, residential, retail, and institutional sectors, consistently achieving time, cost, and quality outcomes.

Anna’s distinctive edge lies in her rare breadth of experience, having worked as a client, consultant, and contractor. This 360-degree perspective enables her to deliver strategic, tangible outcomes while building collaborative relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments. Her leadership is anchored in fairness, innovation, and an unwavering focus on project and portfolio success.

At Cerulean, Anna drives the "shared pursuit of the remarkable," blending strategic vision with hands-on delivery expertise. She is particularly known for her ability to digitise processes, streamline project life cycles, and implement best practices to create sustainable and functional built environments.

Patrick Marsden

Associate Director

Patrick joined Cerulean in 2024 as Associate Director, having previously worked in both client-side consulting and architecture for two global industry sector leaders in the built environment. With more than a decade of experience, Patrick brings a range of industry experience including workplace, commercial, mixed use residential, retail and hospitality. Repeated successful project delivery has instilled in Patrick that the key to delivering successful outcomes is to understand the clients’ unique needs then navigate the appropriate pathways to deliver those while drawing on knowledge and experience to drive positive results. Patrick has helped clients, both locally and globally, deliver projects of exceptional standards beginning with strategic advice through initial strategy and functional briefs, managing programme and procurement pathways and through to project delivery and post occupancy transitions. Driving success through the complex problem solving and strategic thinking transparency and Patrick is known to be able to help Clients navigate through all project stages and deliver success.
