Mahesh Khupse

Mahesh leads Affine Projects in Auckland and has spent more than 14 years delivering complex construction, commercial and residential projects across New Zealand. He has worked on all sides of the industry, as contractor, client and consultant, which gives him a practical understanding of supply chains, site execution and contractor behaviour alongside the commercial, governance and reporting disciplines clients expect. His particular strength is delivering construction works in live operational environments; the Auckland Airport international terminal expansion while the airport remained fully operational, capital works across an operating NZD 2B commercial property portfolio, and tenanted refurbishments delivered with minimal disruption to the businesses inside them.

His experience includes a NZD 20M package of works within the NZD 180M+ Auckland Airport duty-free expansion with Fletcher Construction, a NZD 180M+ community housing pipeline delivering more than 220 homes for CORT, and the in-house project management office overseeing capital works across Oyster Property Group's nationwide portfolio, alongside large-scale residential programmes for Kāinga Ora and infrastructure programmes for Auckland Council. He administers contracts under NZS 3910 and NZS 3916.
